Sitaare
This initiative was launched in 2020 to push our dedicated dancers that could also act and wanted to extend themselves to the next level with a new challenge. Our Sitaree programme teaches students how to act and puts together challenging classes to extend our dancers in strength, flexibility and technique with the aim to come out the other end with an AWESOME, professional standard dance drama production that can be performed not only as a prestigious end of year show but on a few other occasions to support the community such as free out door public events, at rest homes, schools, hospitals and more.

Exams
Exams
Annual Bharatanatyam exams are a great goal for our students to work towards through their syllabus classes. Students feel a great sense of achievement and pride once completed. Students then progress through their genre levels from year to year.
When: Exams take place end of year and can fall anywhere between the end of Term 3 – mid Term 4.
Cost: Exam entry fees depend on the examination level however fees can range from $50 – $250.
Eligibility: To be eligible to sit an exam at Aaja Nachle you must fufill the following:
Attend the compulsory classes for your exam
Wear the appropriate uniform for your exam
Attend any extra holiday/intensive courses that are scheduled for your exam
Regularly practise at home
Show a positive attitude towards the syllabus, their teacher and their peers
Classical Troupe
Classical Troupe
Aaja Nachle puts on projects every year for its classical performance troupe. We invite pre-professional or professional classically trained dancers to apply. The aim of this troupe is to provide more intense training to dedicated dancers and artistic expression. Our dancers learn choreography quickly and are challenged to push performance, audience connection and storytelling.
